big leak in the engine

so who do you guys recommend for an engine rebuild

or whats the cheapest I could  get a new engine.

New engine is virtually impossible for sensible money....so rebuild will be the choice.

basically poured in whole 5 litre can and it all poured out in the bottom

poured out in the bottom of where?? you need to be a bit more specific with this if you want help.

to think you need to buy a complete new engine (if you could) is lunacy

I was on the way to mrc and oil sign came up and I pulled up started to hear a knocking noise,got it into a recovery truck and had a full health check at mrc only way to tell would be to take engine apart .

so its not just a leak? theres a failure probably with a bearing somewhere also.

defo need to strip it dude and see whats damaged.

rebuilds on these aren't cheap as its a question of 'while your in there how far do you go' and all the parts come with a hefty price tag.

where abouts are you? dont you have a local engineering shop you can trust?

Yh definitely something more too it, and yh that's why I've delayed it atm, from Birmingham not many places I'm aware of tbh
