why can't they do something a bit more special styling wise?

this is all a bit bland to my eyes - no real arches to speak of and that generic front end just gets more fussy....

Yea as much as it's nice.. it could be made mor mean looking, flared arches  I think the back end could be better, maybe a quad exhaust

Looks good to me! Contemporary angular lines throughout, aggressive front end, flared arches that I'm sure will be even more pronounced in the metal, rear with a nice stance and signature RS oval pipes. Not something you'll be mistaking for a A4 s-line in a hurry.

2.9 v6 twin turbo...

Hmmmm

They need a manual version!

if they made a manual version would the B5 start to depreciate?

The 2.9 V6 isn't getting great reviews for it's 'character' in the RS5.

Also saying it lacks any real 'punch' due to it's incredibly linear power delivery despite ultimately still being bloody quick.

I really like the front, it looks aggressive and sleek. Although I'm not a huge fan of that back side... but I've never actually liked avant/tourer car models.

I just think what a bloody nightmare the B5 is to maintain! The B9 would need some rocket scientist with a lab full of 's in computers and tools! 😩

Basically will it be worth owning by the time I can afford one lol
