I've heard very bad things about these cheap eBay kits, they destroy themselves after a few months, crap quality and you end up having to do them all again.

Two things to keep in mind when buying anything

1 - Buy cheap - Get cheap
2 - You get what you pay for

to be fair, the seller has 99% positive feedback. You would have thought if it was crap he was selling, a few folk might say so?  I certainly would!
I agree high quality items do cost more than inferior stuff but this can be taken to extremes in some cases.
Hopefully Audi parts in an Audi box bought from an Audi dealer will be top quality but does this really mean the same part NOT in an Audi box is inferior? Of course it doesnt as Audi dont manufacture every component themselves.

The control arms fall apart after they have left positive feedback, or out of the time period eBay gives you to leave feedback...

Most people will leave decent feedback on arrival of parts - the rest after fitting.

On Ebay your purchase history only goes back 60 days, so when the arms are shot after 12 months it's not possible (afaik) to change the feedback.

There is a decent amount of bad feedback relating to the poor quality of the  dampers this company sells (and lots of moans about the goods being sent from Poland, not Germany)

I fitted some to my old A4.

They were slightly more expensive than those, around £130 for the set, and they came from germany and were advertised as TUV approved etc etc. Fitted them, rotated my half worn Eagles onto the front and had the tracking/alignment setup.

After about 3 months they started creaking. I ignored it. After about 4 months there was obvious knocking, and not long after some horrendous steering vibration.

Upon inspecting it, all four upper balljoints were completely shot, and the play was allowing the toe to change at random while driving, which had worn both front tyres egg shaped.

Ended up spending a further £350 on a Meyle kit, and more money on two new front tyres and another alignment.

Best avoided i'd say!

I think the general consensus is to stick to Meyle HD or Lemforder if you're keeping the car for more than 6 months, and/or dislike the idea of fighting the dreaded pinch bolt on a regular basis.
