I find myself strangely underwhelmed tbh. Engine - big tick, but the rest I'm not going to commit to till I see it.

Not sure on the appeal of the zf box unless they're moving away from dual clutch for reliability and longevity reasons? I know the zf is a good box but is it right for the model?

There seems to be plenty of scope to make an RS more visually exciting....

For sure is a sleeper... I can't understand the use of the e-brake on a ''sport'' car ... I hope new RS4 will be turbo and with a handbrake as all sportscars should

Looks good. Surprised to see the engine has switched to turbocharged. Interesting to see the gearbox has moved to Tiptronic like the higher power 3.0 TDI. Maybe a confession the S tronic isn't up to the job?

A4 Saloon and Avant now on the config (S4 to follow)

I think the 8 speed tip will be a much better box than the s-tronic.

A conventional manual handbrake is a clumsy combination with an automatic.

I see from the picture of that blue car that with those rear parking sensors and the extra one close to the wheel arch it must have that " it will steer itself into the parking space" optional extra "

There was a fresh press release on Tuesday which is why there have been new articles from various motoring media, however from a quick look I can't see any obvious detail that we didn't already know.
